Seasonal STEAM Hour: Apple Science
An apple-solutely fun time!
Get ready to explore apple anatomy and the life cycle of the fruit! After, kids will use the fruit to explore density and buoyancy, and even make awesome apple stamp art!

1 Your Guide
I'm an artist, a speculative-fiction writer, tiny-home dweller, mediocre ukulele player, and a true believer that you can figure out how to make anything you can dream up. Most days, I can be found slinging some mud around on my pottery wheel and trying (and sometimes failing) to prevent my new puppy from chewing on absolutely everything. In addition to my degree in education, I have a bachelors of fine arts and I love volunteering at my local literacy organization! I speak a little German from my time living in Berlin (where I led a weekly STEM club for learners) and I believe every subject in school should be guided through the lens of Art.
I strive to live as sustainably and off-grid as I can. My big dream is to move into a tiny, off-grid, cabin in the forest to make pots all day, especially if I can have a couple of goats (maybe even tiny goats!)
