Permaculture - Designing with nature
Design systems that care for the Earth, people, and the future.
What is permaculture? It’s a way of designing with nature by noticing connections between plants, water, animals, and people. Learn how thoughtful design creates abundance and care for the Earth. Kids will create their own permaculture design based on where they live.

Hello, Hola, & Bonjour! While travelling through Mexico and Quebec, I had the amazing opportunity to learn French and Spanish, both beautiful languages. Those journeys led me to my B.A. in French and Spanish, to which I joyfully added a linguistics minor. I love spending my time raising four amazing boys alongside my husband, as well as a bunch of farm animals: sheep, chickens, mini goats… and maybe pigs again someday. You might also find me among all the plants growing on our mini farm on the prairies. I enjoy exploring my creative side with paint, markers, sidewalk chalk, blowing bubbles, and fun dancing. I believe learning is a lifelong adventure - full of joy, fun, excitement, perseverance, and yes, some tough times too. I love bring simple songs, art and games into my teaching. I look forward to sharing that adventure with you!
As a kid I lived in the city until I was 10 and then moved to a farm, so I got to experience both worlds.
