Experiment and Explore: Junior
Answer questions using the scientific method!
Kids will learn about the inquiry process and apply it to their very own science project! This activity will guide kids in developing, testing and sharing results for an experiment, from brainstorming ideas to finding background information and making observations. The final session will include a time to share their findings with the group in a mini-science fair!

Hi, I’m Corrina! I believe the best learning is all about exploring interests and curiosities. As a BC certified teacher with qualifications in Special Education and Urban Education, I have lots of experience helping K-7 learners dive into new ideas to spark their imaginations and sense of wonder. My favourite topics to explore with kiddos are all things science and outdoor education, especially through hands-on STEM activities! If I weren’t a teacher, I would certainly be a Marine Biologist, as ocean life and biology are two of my favourite interests! I love digging through tidal pools looking for interesting marine life and treasures. When I am not teaching, I enjoy hiking, sailing, and playing beach volleyball with friends. I also love playing with my cat Mika, or reading books about adventure or mystery.
