Need an extra hand? Let’s build one!
Together, let’s learn how healthcare providers create and use prosthetic hands to help those who need them. We’ll use household materials to create our very own robot hand to help us complete small tasks!
1 Your Guide
Hi, I’m Corrina! I believe the best learning is all about exploring interests and curiosities. As a BC certified teacher with qualifications in Special Education and Urban Education, I have lots of experience helping K-7 learners dive into new ideas to spark their imaginations and sense of wonder. My favourite topics to explore with kiddos are all things science and outdoor education, especially through hands-on STEM activities! If I weren’t a teacher, I would certainly be a Marine Biologist, as ocean life and biology are two of my favourite interests! I love digging through tidal pools looking for interesting marine life and treasures. When I am not teaching, I enjoy hiking, sailing, and playing beach volleyball with friends. I also love playing with my cat Mika, or reading books about adventure or mystery.
