1 Your Guide
Dee is a queer, Italian-Spanish-Jewish professional singer, producer, DJ, songwriter, sound healer, and soul-driven teacher. Deeply rooted in R&B, Hip-Hop, and Soul, she inspires people of all ages to sing, discover their authentic voices, and share their stories through music. With over 15 years of teaching experience, Dee believes that music and songwriting can transform challenges into triumphs. Born into a lineage of jazz musicians and music college teachers in Boston, MA, and raised in the mountains of the Kootenays, Dee began performing at just 17 and has since toured internationally—from Brazil to Europe to Morocco. A passionate music curator and educator, she founded her own community singing workshops in 2010, created her kids’ music camps in 2017, tours schools across Canada, and continues to mentor emerging artists with heart and intention.
When she’s not touring, creating new music, or teaching, you can find Dee hiking, snowboarding, or baking her famous cinnamon buns.
