In this series we will work on our social emotional skills through challenges, teamwork and creativity. Together we will tackle big emotions, learn about empathy and gratitude, while also having some fun along the way!
1 Your Guide
Hi, I’m Corrina! I believe the best learning is all about exploring interests and curiosities. As a BC certified teacher with qualifications in Special Education and Urban Education, I have lots of experience helping K-7 learners dive into new ideas to spark their imaginations and sense of wonder. My favourite topics to explore with kiddos are all things science and outdoor education, especially through hands-on STEM activities! If I weren’t a teacher, I would certainly be a Marine Biologist, as ocean life and biology are two of my favourite interests! I love digging through tidal pools looking for interesting marine life and treasures. When I am not teaching, I enjoy hiking, sailing, and playing beach volleyball with friends. I also love playing with my cat Mika, or reading books about adventure or mystery.
