LEGO Club: Amusement Park

Build a LEGO amusement park!

This week in LEGO Club, we will build an amusement park! Kids will design and build a LEGO ferris wheel (May 13), a teacup ride (May 14), a carnival game, (May 15) and bumper cars (May 16). The final product will be a LEGO amusement park that they can play with and add on to. Join us for one or all four days!

1 Your Guide

Steven Parry Learn more about me

I am a certified BC teacher, Montessori Elementary guide, and an English language teacher for adults. I was a K-7 classroom teacher and a K-3 music prep teacher before hearing about the Montessori approach to education! I enjoy cycling around the Comox Valley, where I call home. When I get the chance, I like to fish for ling cod and salmon. My favourite kinds of books are sci-fi and fantasy, but really, I just love a good story of any kind. I believe in the learner-led approach to education, and encouraging kids to explore their interests. Children are imaginative and curious and I enjoy the enthusiasm they bring to learning. In the evenings, you can usually find me making dinner, hanging out with my family, and playing hide and seek with our ginger tabby cat, Conan.
