Learn how to tell a story in comic book form!

Learn how to build a comic from the ground up! Panels, speech bubbles, story boards and characters, - this session has it all. We will work together in creating a short story that can be told using a typical comic strip layout. There will definitely be a lot of learning and a lot of laughing!

Hi! I'm Jess! I am a professional artist and musician and I love supporting young artists in the arts! I am a digital illustrator, children's book author/artist, children's musician and media maker (look up "Penny Pom Pom") and I also love to paint with acrylics and watercolour.

My favourite colour is purple and I have a pet cat named Hero!

2 Materials Needed

Blank paper (cardstock/ multimedia paper is best for the comics but they will need some scrap paper for sketching and storyboarding as well), pencil, eraser, ruler, artist pens (Faber Castell, Micron), pencil crayons or markers
