Explore these elements and how each of these elements can influence and shape your art-making. Delve into watercolours, experiment with charcoal and use items from nature to create unique tools and textures to use in your art-making.
1 Your Guide
Amber Santos is an art educator and artist with over 25 years of experience, including 15 years in online education and creating 65+ activities for the HomeLearners Network. Her multidisciplinary practice is deeply rooted in her German heritage and reclaimed Métis and Anishinaabe culture, blending paper craft, beading, textiles, and eco-conscious gardening. Amber’s curriculum combines technical fundamentals like colour theory and with somatic, wellness-centered art practices. A painter and muralist with an on-going studio practice, she also spent seven years curating the Nelson International Mural Festival of which she is a co-founder.
When I'm not making art, find me listening to music on full blast in the kitchen, dancing and making food for my family:)
