Cozy Crafters Club
Let’s get together to make something cozy!
Do you like to knit, sew, crochet or embroider? Come and join our weekly Cozy Crafters Club! We’ll focus on a variety of handicraft skills as we sit by the fire (I’ll have a roaring fire going in my wood stove!) and work together on some cozy projects this winter.
1 Your Guide
Hello and Bonjour! My name is Jenn. I speak English and French, and have been lucky enough to teach in both languages for over 20 years, from one coast of Canada to the other! I’ve been an elementary school teacher, a home learning parent to my two kiddos, and even drove a huge classroom on wheels (the COW bus!) to teach preschoolers about Science. As a certified Yoga instructor with a background in dance, movement and theater, I believe we are meant to move our bodies in different ways, every day! I am also a student of breathing and meditation, and love to help kids find their own path to mindfulness. My family and I live on Vancouver Island, where we spend lots of time at the beach, hiking and camping. Being outdoors helps me tune in with nature, calm my mind and learn about all the living things around me. When I’m not traveling or teaching, you can find me curled up with a good book or covered in dirt in my garden!
Fun Fact: If I wasn’t a teacher, I’d be a librarian! I love children’s books, especially reading them aloud with different voices and accents.
