2 More About my Activity

Learn about the sun’s energy in this yummy activity as you build a solar oven to cook yummy treats! Using easy to find items, like a box, tin foil, plastic wrap, and other small supplies, kids will create their own solar oven they can use to cook smores.

3 What Materials Do I Need?

A pizza box (or other cardboard box), tin foil, plastic wrap, sheet of black paper, tape, ruler, utility knife/scissors, pencil, marker, s'mores supplies (marshmallows, graham crackers, chocolate). Optional: chopstick, oven mitts, plate, sunglasses.
