Kids will enjoy adaptive and process-based art making where the emphasis is on the joy of experimenting with mixed media. They are invited to scavenge many materials from their art materials and craft supplies and mix many materials together to express yourself. We will play with processes of layering images incorporating painting, drawing, collage so that kids can express their unique voices and visual language.
1 Your Guide
I’m of German Canadian, Anishanaabe and Metis descent. I’m a practicing artist with over 20 years of exhibiting and selling paintings and drawings, painting murals and teaching art!
I’m a beginner surfer—I’m not very good at it, but every wave I drop is worth the hundreds of wipe outs.
2 Materials Needed
Your favourite drawing supplies and paper. Any adapted drawing tools. Tape, scissors, string and any supplies to modify tools to explore marks they can make.
