Michael Bender Learn more about me

Hi, my name is Michael. My pronouns are they/them, and I have always been a game enthusiast. I have a Masters in Education and School Counseling and have been a DM since 1982 when I found a D&D box at a garage sale. I have enjoyed guiding heroes through dungeons, caves, forest and over the seas ever since. I built my first computer in 1983 when we used floppy disks to boot up. The games computers and consoles have developed over the past 40 years are amazing, and I love how games help us tell stories. Like D&D, I get to play a hero (or villain) and participate in adventures. I love how games can help build community and connections between players. We experience this in the Chat and Play Clubs and in the D&D Campaigns. I look forward to our adventures together!

My first Dungeons and Dragons game lasted 22 straight hours. Don't worry, we will keep our sessions to 2 hours each 🙂
