Hi there! I’m Shamim, and I’m so excited to be part of the Home Learners Network! I’m all about exploring culture, people, and places, and I love sharing those passions with others. Food and nutrition, art, music, and my Persian heritage are a big part of who I am. Learning for me is about connection—it’s real, it’s meaningful, and it’s rooted in our experiences and interests. Whether we’re diving into traditions of the world, crafting hands-on projects, or getting lost in epic tales and legends, learning is everywhere—in what we love, and in what we haven’t yet discovered we love.

I have a horse and I used to play the Santoor, a beautiful string instrument. These days, I’ve been exploring electronic music and creating my own beats online. Maybe we can jam together sometime!
