In this activity you will discover approaches to drawing pixel art and try different techniques. We will experiment with shapes, outlines, and shading, as well as ways to add depth and dimension. Try a variety of pixel art styles and share your works of art, should you wish.

Bring along: a pencil and eraser, 5 sheets of grid paper, colouring supplies (e.g., crayons, pencil crayons), magnifying glass if handy. Optional: if you wish you can create a copy of our Google Doc Pixel Art Sheet to explore digital pixel art.
